1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using EchoApply, an AI-driven career automation platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Access to the platform is managed through Google OAuth 2.0 and Firebase Authentication to ensure secure identity management.

2. Services and Functionality

EchoApply provides a suite of tools designed to help job seekers deconstruct their professional history into structured data and generate tailored application materials. Key features include:

  • The Identity Vault: A centralized profile where users manage their work history and Skill Cloud (technical and behavioral strengths).
  • Magic Import: A feature powered by the Gemini API that parses raw resume text into a structured JSON format.
  • Job Analysis: The extraction of job requirements from text or URLs using AI with Google Search grounding.
  • Prepare-Interview Module: A simulation tool providing STAR Method Coaching (Situation, Task, Action, Result) and Gap-Based Questioning to prepare for live interviews.

3. License Model and Subscription Fees

EchoApply operates on a Tiered Pricing model combined with a Freemium entry point to align costs with the value provided to the user.

Free Plan (Freemium)

Includes access to the Identity Vault and the Magic Import tool for basic profile setup.

Pro Plan (Job Seeker)

Includes unlimited job analysis and AI Generation of tailored cover letters using the platform's selective experience matching.

Elite Plan (Career Switcher)

Includes all Pro features plus full access to the Prepare-Interview Module, real-time AI critique, and comprehensive Readiness Reports.

4. User Content and Data Privacy

Your professional data is stored in a dedicated Cloud Firestore path (/artifacts/echo-apply-v1).

  • Ownership: You retain full ownership of the data in your Identity Vault.
  • Security: Access is governed by strict security rules where only the authenticated owner can read or write to their specific userId collection.
  • Accuracy: While the platform uses Gemini 2.0 Flash for generation, users are responsible for using the Refinement Loop (chat-based interface) to ensure the accuracy and truthfulness of their final applications.

5. Technical Security & AI Privacy

  • Encryption: EchoApply uses industry-standard HTTPS/SSL encryption for all data transmission between your browser and our servers.
  • Data Processing: To provide our core features, we process your resume and job data via the Google Gemini API.
  • No Training: We utilize Google's enterprise-tier API configurations, which ensure that your personal professional data is used solely for real-time generation and is NOT used by Google to train or improve their base AI models.
  • Authentication: All user sessions are managed through Firebase Authentication, ensuring that only you can access your private "Identity Vault."

6. Disclaimer of Guarantees

EchoApply is a tool for informational and coaching purposes only.

  • No Job Guarantee: The platform does not guarantee that using its services will result in a job interview or a job offer.
  • User Effort: Success in the "Interview Game" depends on the user's ability to thoughtfully consider their goals and research the specific company culture and products independently.
